Lock AP names to prevent renaming
Have the possibility to "lock" AP names/numbers.
Let's say you make a design, deliver and install the solution.
Later on you need to add a few more AP's here and there, maybe move a couple of AP's. If you use the "reorganize numbers" function, you don't want all AP's to be renamed, as they are already installed and named in your controller according to the old design.
If you can lock the names so they are not renamed, then it will only rename the ones not locked.

Rudi Mitander IngebrethsenThis would be really helpful in larger facilities with a lot of APs. Dynamic names is a nice feature when doing the planning/design, but i would prefere to convert the names to static names after the report is handed over to stakeholders.
This can partially be acheive today by using export to OpenIntent as a workaround. Names are converted to static names in the export process. You can then re-import it into a new copy of your map (preferable). There are some limitations in the OpenIntent export, such as client devices (cameras, phones, etc).
I would rather prefere to have the "lock" or "convert to static" as a built-in feature, than having to do the go via the workaround. I also think this feature would be nice to have on all devices (APs, switches, cameras, etc.)
