Fully customizable reports
We have customers who require customized reports, so to us, it's a requirement to be able to do this.
So it would be nice to use the report feature in Hamina to fully customize the final report, either by scripts or a GUI.

Fully customizable reports is a must for us as well. Being able to break things down, format images and floor plans to a template and generating branded reports with marketing material for an engineering firm is crucial. Not only does it provide a level of professionalism, but it also allows for reports that certain customers want and pay for. It would be great to see a drag n drop report creator with the ability to add custom scripting that can be converted to word doc and pdf. Or at the very least, export to word doc that will allow some sort of json scripting or python. The PDF export is quite wonky. Lots of blank space, floor plans dropped in odd areas of the page not centered like the web version, etc. Blank space is really bad visually. Reports are where some of us make our money. Standing out by them is a requirement in some cases. A lot more metrics are needed sometimes and breaking out portions into a single page. -

* Edit hardcopy front page: possibility to change/remove "made by", add company name, customer name and site name.
Maybe have a menu with "project details", where we can select what should be visible?
* Add customizable header and footer to every hardcopy page.
* choose to show/hide AP names for ap placement, coverage, SNR etc
* choose which order pages in the report is shown - maybe drag and drop in the menu list? -

For "total customization GUI", would an API cut it?

We missed you at the Dutch Wi-Fi conference, how was the beach volley?
Our core business is Wi-Fi RF design; as a company, we like to present ourselves as that extra touch of RF expertise to the wireless teams of our partners.
Final RF Design reports are the end product we sell, so we want to differentiate them from standard report templates ;-).
We have different flavors of Wi-Fi RF Designs, depending on the need of end customers.
Some have specific requirements on how the survey data is presented in the report.
So basically, we like to add a lot of info/data in the survey "file" and be able to pull out specific data based on the reporting requirements.
Word would be great, any other format will do fine as long as it's customizable and edible.
With the "others," we create our own scripts to pull out the specific data from the survey file.
Customization is essential for us. -

Jussi Kiviniemi AdminPoint being, you will eventually be able to have both: Also, the online reporting already today is quite customizable (including things like Project notes with pictures and view-specific reporting-only-notes, logos, etc), but perhaps not enough for your needs.
