  Applies to my use case as well. Often have remote IDFs that are little more than a hoffman box, mounted 30 feet in the air to the steel beam.

  It would be great if you could set the network equipment (e.g. IDF) height in the floor plan and visualise it.
  
  I realised it would be handy after I tried to "mount" an IDF in the Catwalk and it ended up in the middle of the court :D

  Need to have the ability to put the height of an IDF. For example, my potential customer IDF is 25 feet up, and ceilings are 50 feet.

  I personally think that we need to do this for PoE clients as well - make them both behave exactly like APs when it comes to height settings and cable calculations.

  Being able to specify the height of switches/IDFs as well as wired clients and ceiling height to be able to account for the vertical part of cable runs. This is espeically important in facilities with high ceilings like warehouses.

  At times in warehousing and manufacturing environments IDF's(switches are installed higher up. This impacts the cable length. Would like an ability to specify closet/switch heigh.
