Autopilot site survey feature for Hamina Onsite
To streamline the , we require the Autopilot feature similar to Ekahau's Autopilot; "Autopilot survey mode automatically tracks your location on your uploaded floorplan map while continuously collecting survey data at every step. This mode is easy, hands-free, and perfect when you have a floorplan to work from."

This feature would be really helpful to get things speeded up at large surveys and to increase accuracy at the same time. -

Joel Crane System"LiDAR for positioning at surveys with Hamina and Nomad" (suggested by <Hidden> on 2025-02-01), including upvotes (1) and comments (0), was merged into this suggestion.

KarstenHasn't Jussi even showcased this in a video as a "what could be possible" shortly before Ekahau came out with AutoPilot? I remember something like this. And yes, there are enough situations where this would be of tremendous help. I would like to have this feature.

Ethan DamuckThis would be great for quick surveys. I can’t believe this isn’t the most upvoted suggestion.

Luke JenkinsEven if there isn't full "autopilot", how about starting with:
If someone marks a survey location that couldn't possibly have traveled to based on the sensor data, have an optional pop-up for "Was that click a mistake?"
Thought of this while listening to Heavy Wireless Episode 54 with Kieth and Joel. :) -

Falk BachmannI would suggest an autopilot function where i give a certain path in the UI via APP/Browser and then something/someone just walks, runs, drives, flies this path. The start and end would have been done manually, but then the whole measurements would evenly distribute along this path. So i can start and not look at my phone/tablet/etc and end with a tap on the screen. With this the real labor part could be done by robots, AGVs, drones whatever. Also it would be a repeatable path for before and after surveys for refresh projects or config changes, RRM tuning etc.
